My boyfriend and I think their Quiche Lorraine is super delicious and really moist! We also loved the passion fruit cheesecake—it's amazing and not too sweet. Definitely recommend!

This charming and unique destination coffee shop is nestled in the heart of downtown Brunswick, MD, a town rich in history with its historic railroad and the C&O Canal towpath. Just two blocks from the Potomac River, Beans in the Belfry is housed in a beautifully restored 1910 Brunswick Reformed Church, featuring original stained-glass windows, cozy private nooks, and an inviting atmosphere that feels like home. If you love destination coffee shops, this one is a must for your bucket list! The original owner, Melanie DiPasquale, lovingly restored the church, and it has since been taken over by the impressive husband-and-wife duo, Eddie Nunez and Stefani Penaranda. In addition to running Beans in the Belfry, they manage a successful snowplow and daycare business, work in Cybersecurity and Real Estate, and are raising two young children—making their stewardship of this beloved cafe even more remarkable. Whether you're stopping by for a peaceful morning, a midday break, or an afternoon catching up with friends and family, Beans in the Belfry offers a warm and welcoming retreat. Their menu features everything from delicious breakfast and lunch options to specialty hot drinks, ice cream, and irresistible pastries. They have gluten free and vegetarian offerings as well. Beyond serving great food and coffee, Eddie and Stefani continue the tradition of community care, making this cafe not just a place to visit, but a place to belong. They are truly paying it forward, one cup at a time.

Great place located in old church with vintage vibes. I had mixed berries smoothie with Breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. My friends tried bagel, coffee , molten lava cake with Ice Cream, butter pecan Muffin & Tuscan sandwich . We loved the taste of all the items mixed with amazing hospitality. Best part is all the items have subtle taste of sweetness with low quantity of sugar which makes it extra special Would definitely recommend.

I have been here a few times while biking the C&O, always a fantastic meal and coffee. I most recently got the quiche and will get it from here on out. Live music on occasion (Shoutout Theo). Always a pleasure to sit and enjoy the decor and food at Beans in the Belfry.

Fun atmosphere! The service was fast during lunch on Mother's day. The veggie panini was loaded with vegetables! The iced Chai was great!

Located in C&O Canal, this place is one of more unique cafe I've been to. It's an old belfry building converted into cafe space. Stained glass windows around the place adds to its character. Interior was well thought out and use of church pew was a nice touch. I think their latte was lacking in the foam, but overall the flavor was good. While coffee was just "OK," their sandwich however was amazing. I got their Tuscan and it was simple but very flavorful. I like how they kept it simple.

A unique environment to eat in as this is a repurposed church! There was something exciting about eating near stained glass windows and amongst church pews. I loved the vibe and atmosphere. The breakfast sandwich and coffee were great and just what I wanted! The only detractor was the length of the line to order, but that's to be expected in a really popular space.
